Travel Luggage Scale
We received this as a gift just before our trip. It was great! We loaded each of our large bags to 50 lbs (the limit without paying extra). I highly recommend this if you have significant luggage!
Heart Rate Arm Band
This heart rate monitor is by far the best I have tried. It is placed just above or below the elbow. It works much better than wrist or chest bands that I have tried. Pair it to your other sports equipment (fitness watch, bike computer, etc.), to your phone, or any other Bluetooth Smart(TM) or ANT+ device. I personally use Wahoo Fitness app on my phone. (I found these with the reviews on DCRainmaker.com).
Washcloths
We purchased these when washcloths Theo was first born. They have been great! Leslie and I gave up on our regular washcloths. These are softer, cheaper, and just the right thickness. We decided to take a few on our trip and we use them daily!
Mindset
This book is actually still on my list to read. Leslie read it first and has been talking about the messages inside ever since (and recommends it to anyone!). It describes power of your mindset and how it can affect outcomes. It includes everything from business to parenting.

It can be hard to settle on the name for your new baby. These chocolates were the deciding factor in Theo's name!
Blender
We left our Vitamix at home and were longing for a smoothie. The appliance store around the corner (in Lagos) had three options. We picked this one without any research, and love it! It does not have the capability of the Vitamix, but it has been performing better than other blenders we have had. And it is cheap! (Sorry, it's only available in Europe).
